Constituency Labour parties across the country

Progress wants to support CLPs in the work they do, campaigning for a fourth term Labour government.

To do this, we have launched two intiatives - our 'Speaker List', and the 'Obama Roadshow'. Both aim to make it easier for CLPs to arrange top-quality speakers for their meetings.

 A general election in the UK must be called within a matter of weeks and the campaign is effectively already under way.

Whoever wins that election could play a key role in shaping the future of the EU, influencing issues as fundamental as responding to the economic crisis, reform of the EU budget and CAP and tackling climate change.

Although Europe has been a seismic and polarising issue for the UK political parties in recent years, their EU policies for the next five years have so far been barely mentioned.

Luther Pendragon, in association with Progress and ConservativeHome, is delighted to host a thought provoking event in Brussels where Jessica Asato and Jonathan Isaby, both  well-known and well- informed commentators from the main parties, will discuss, debate and respond to questions from the floor.
